All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Holly is our latest Pet of the Week. The shelter shares, “Holly is around two years old, 60 lbs, came to us as a stray never reclaimed. Maybe a Husky/Pyrenees/Lab mix? She is an incredibly sweet dog, little shy at first, doesn’t know what a leash or toys are about. Loves a tummy rub and getting attention.”
Adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
Current rules – If you are interested in meeting Holly any of our pets, please first email the shelter at [email protected] for our Adoption Application. Once that is cleared, we will coordinate with you to set up an appointment between 10-3:30 Mon-Sat. We are not doing walk-in adoptions.
