I-92 proudly supports the Humane Society of Elmore County and their effort to find forever homes for loving pets. In the spotlight as our Pet of the Week is Mandrake!

The shelter shares with us, “Mandrake is a one-year old, 70 lb Hound male in search of a hound loving home. He can actually be quite clingy to his human but when outside he loves to run and run and run some more. Mandrake will need a large and well fenced property to keep him safely at home. Are you a runner looking for a running partner – then Mandrake could be perfect as he could help motivate you to cover some miles. And he loves to ride in a car, so will be happy on his way to and from his hiking and running adventures with his owner.”

Humane Society of Elmore County adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
