Taking the stage at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery March 23rd through April 9th is the world premiere of Dauphin Island!

Described by ASF, “Dauphin Island tells the story of Selwyn Tate who has left Michigan on his way to Dauphin Island, Alabama in hopes of landing a construction job. He is homeless but determined to find a way to provide for his daughter back home. When his car breaks down on a rural country road he encounters Kendra Evans, a woman who has abandoned her upper-middle class life to seek escape in the middle of nowhere. As Selwyn and Kendra cultivate a relationship, deep and troubling life choices from the past begin to emerge.”
