All of us at I-92 hope you enjoy your long weekend! That’s right, the extra hour we all get when we fall back to mark the end of Daylight Savings Time!
Hey it’s Greg Thomas with the friendly reminder, as of 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 6th, the clocks will turn back one hour. The saying has been, change your clocks before you go to bed on Saturday. These days, thanks to our most cherished time keeping device, our phones, we don’t have to worry about it. Still, you probably have a clock on your stove or one on the wall which still needs to be changed.
Fall back, the time change which comes with mixed emotions. We like the extra hour of sleep, if your kids let you. But, this now means it will get dark so early. Just think though, you’ll probably be like me, and be early for things next week with the roll back. This is much better than the mighty struggle to wake up on time that Monday after we move up an hour from the spring forward change.
Really, the question I have, is it really worthwhile to keep these clock changes? Maybe it would be best to just keep a standard time all year.
In the video below, the history of how Daylight Saving Time started. The question becomes, is it worthwhile to keep it?
