All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Jimbo is a one-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix, only about 40 lbs. He came in to us as a stray along with a puppy and a small adult dog and none were ever reclaimed. Jimbo is happy, playful, handsome & just a very sweet boy that loves attention. Let’s find Jimbo a family he can call his own for the rest of his life.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
