All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Sadie Mae is a 19-month-old female possible German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, 65 lbs. She is good with dogs, cats and children but came to us for getting into trouble being destructive at home. Given her breed mix, she very likely needs a JOB and/or a lot of exercise of her body and her brain! Sadie Mae is smart with lots of energy so that can be a lot to handle if you are not up to the task. Another dog to romp with might be good for when her owner is busy at work and the like.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
