All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Derek is a seven-month-old Hound mix pup, about 40 lbs. Derek came to us in June with a horribly broken front leg. Thanks to a most awesome local Vet his leg has healed, and it is now his turn to find his forever home. Great with other dogs, happy go lucky, will counter surf your sandwiches if you let him. LOVES PEOPLE!”
Adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
