All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.

Here’s our latest Pet of the Week, sponsored by Pet Urgent Care of Montgomery! The shelter shares, “Olivia is a two-year-old female Bulldog mix, 48 lbs.  She came to us with her two puppies (adopted) and proved to be a fantastic mom.  She WAS heartworm positive but has completed her treatment so now ready to go to a loving home who will cherish her and always keep her on heartworm prevention.  She is good with both male and female dogs and cats.  Very sweet lady indeed.”

The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
