All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.

Here’s our latest Pet of the Week, sponsored by Pet Urgent Care of Montgomery! The shelter shares, “Coco is a female Terrier mix, 9 1/2-months old, 18 lbs. She came to us as a stray never reclaimed.  This little gal packs a lot of energy in a small package and thinks playing keep-away is a fun game but she is very responsive to treats thank goodness.  She is a sweet gal, good with other dogs, can be talkative like a lot of Terriers.”

The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
