All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.

Here’s our latest Pet of the Week, sponsored by Pet Urgent Care of Montgomery! The shelter shares, “Tank is one-year-old, 50 lbs, male; adorable, sweet, loving, playful. He is in a foster home where is has proven to be a big snuggle bug and wants to be with his people all the time.  Tank loves being inside and getting love!  He is great with other dogs of all sizes and both male and female and would likely do best with a buddy dog as he was quite attached to another that has been adopted.  Tank is also housetrained and crate trained so not sure how much more perfect he can be.”

The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
