All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.

Here’s our latest Pet of the Week, sponsored by Pet Urgent Care of Montgomery! The shelter shares, “Bentley is a three-year-old male possibly Retriever type mix, about 70 lbs.  Handsome fella, nice as can be, big goofball and can be a lot of dog at first but does settle down with exercise.  Good with female dogs, have not yet checked with male dogs.  Found as a stray never reclaimed.”

The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
