All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Thomas looks to be possible Great Pyrenees/Labrador mix, about two-years old, and is a very tall 60 lb fella. He came to us as a stray who was a bit independent at first but he has proven to be a very friendly boy, good with other dogs & cats, and pretty laid back. Now we have seen test our fence quite a bit so his new home will need a very good & tall fence to keep him safely at home.”
Adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
