All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.

Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Roy is a fun and active, two-year old boy, about 45 lbs, that has sadly been with us since January. Hard to understand as he is super sweet, very smart, loves treats and would be a great hiking or running partner for someone as he loves to romp and play. He is great with other dogs and loves children though perhaps best with older children since he can be rather rambunctious.”

Adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
