I-92 proudly supports the Humane Society of Elmore County and their effort to find forever homes for loving pets. In the spotlight as our Pet of the Week is Levy!

The shelter shares with us, “Levy is a 16-month old, female Shepherd/Retriever mix, about 45 lbs. She is a very playful and loving gal; good with dogs but might be a bit too much for some small or low key dogs. NO chickens, ducks or pet birds please. She loves toys, does also love to chew and dig but she is still a young dog so just give her chew toys to keep your house intact when you are gone. She is housetrained and crate trained. Levy is NOT in our shelter but in a foster home and so please first contact us for our Adoption Application and then can arrange for a meeting.”

Humane Society of Elmore County adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
