Ella’s “WE2 Strong” Tornado Benefit Details Shared [AUDIO]

Local country music artist Ella Langley stopped by the I-92 WLWI studio to talk with Greg Thomas about the “WE2 Strong” benefit events coming up to support Wetumpka tornado recovery.

After viewing the tornado damage in Wetumpka, Ella was inspired to really help with a large benefit event. She soon found others eager to to do something, and something big. A series of artists began to donate their time and Range 231 became the hose site for a BIG 2-day country music event. They’re calling it, WE2 Strong! 4 bands are scheduled each night with other surprises. Plus, there will be auction items to check out and special t-shirts for sale. And, anyone who knows Range 231 knows there will always be more to make it beyond amazing! The only thing, you must be at least 21 to enter.

There is another event being planned which is an family friendly, all-ages event, a 5K run in Wetumpka. It will happen on Saturday, February 23rd at Gold Star Park.

Give a listen to Ella Langley’s interview with I-92 Greg Thomas below. Plus, we’ve listed out more about everything below, along with links.
