Brantwood Children’s Home is hosting their annual 5k Love Run through downtown Montgomery beginning at Paterson Field on Saturday, February 10th, sponsored by Beasley Allen Law Firm!
Past race participants, including I-92’s own Greg Thomas have billed it “the toughest 5k in Montgomery!” It’s designed to simulate the incredible hardships some of these children have endured in their short lifetimes. More than a home, Brantwood really is a place where children are nurtured and supported just as they would receive at home with family.
The race takes place in downtown Montgomery and begins with a shotgun start at Paterson Field. Love Run organizers welcome individuals who may wish to walk the 5k and this year we will also feature a youth donut “fun run”.
“Since 1917, Brantwood Children’s Home has been providing a safe, stable, structured environment for abused, neglected and other “at-risk” children. Currently Brantwood serves children and youth ages 10-21. Brantwood offers programs which are designed to help these young people cope with and succeed in society,” as noted on the Brantwood website.
Come run or walk and show your support for Brantwood Children’s Home with I-92 WLWI!
